Review for HTC HD7
I love the HTC HD7. Before, I was a little bit confused on how to use the Zune software and how to download Apps but once I plugged the HD7 into my notebook, everything was solved. The Zune software was very easy to use, definitely much more user-friendly to me compared to Apple's iTunes software. I've so far downloaded most of the free Apps onto the HD7 and I really enjoy using them. I have downloaded several Apps for Twitter (eg. Seismic), a few trial XBOX games, HTC Youtube (which loads really quickly for me to browse through Youtube videos), SG Buses (which helps me to track bus timings - really helpful) and Facebook. There are also text messaging Apps that I can use to text my friends, for free! One of the things my friends who use other Smartphones are most jealous about the HTC HD7, is the browsing speed when I'm using the Internet Explorer. It is great for girls like me who love to shop online! The pictures are crystal clear with the HD screen even when zoomed in, and with the Windows Live Hotmail on my Home Screen, I get notifications from online shops immediately after they have sent them, unlike most other shoppers! I can also pay these online shops immediately through DBS iBanking without any hassle of logging onto my notebook and doing it because the Internet browsing speed is really that quick. The quality of the photos taken by the camera in the phone is also of high quality, pictures taken are very clear and they can even be edited after downloading simple photo-editing Apps like Photo Enhancer and Photo FX! Pictures taken by my phone can be uploaded onto my Twitter account easily using a downloaded App called Twitpic. Listening to music/watching Youtube videos on my phone is also a very nice experience as the sound quality is very rich and it is customizable with either Dolby Mobile or SRS Enhancement. Speech recognition is also very useful when I am busy and I want to call someone, instead of having to search the name through my contacts. I really like the 'clicking' sound that comes out of the phone when I text someone, and most of my friends do too. In overall, in this past one month, even though I'm a little bit of a slow learner when it came to using the HD7, I'm absolutely in love with it. From the large HD screen to the Apps, from the Camera to the Internet Explorer, I love it all! This would be a phone I would not hesitate to pay for if my Starhub plan expired and I get to change a new phone. :)
